The Patrylo’s Brentwood family photo session was probably one of my favorite sessions to date.
Baby Peter was the happiest baby and was all about showing out for the camera. His sweet smile just made me melt! A happy baby plus, add in the stunning landscape of trees that were slowly turning from green to yellow and you get the perfect combination for a family session.
One thing I enjoyed about working with Peter and his mom and dad is getting to chat with his mama about the joys of motherhood. She used to work as a labor and delivery nurse so we got to share our passion and love for newborns. It’s not often I find someone who is as smitten with babies as I am.
By the way, I do want to give a special shoutout to all the labor and delivery nurses out there. Y’all are absolute gems. It’s not easy to keep parents, especially new parents calm upon arrival of their babies. There are high emotions, mixed with joy and fears of the unknown and y’all navigate your job all while being compassionate and I just want to say thank you.
With that being said, you can tell that Peter’s mama carried that calmness into all aspects of her life. She was so tender in nature and she and her family were just so fun to connect with.
