I’m Grace, I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart for 13 years and together we have 6 miracle babies. (Aren’t they all?) Five beloved sons and one baby girl. After being a military family for 8 years we moved back to our home state to put down some roots. But that’s not where this story begins.
behind the blog
Mama of six, keeper of home, and daughter of the King.
I believe home is holy ground, feasting is an act of faith, and motherhood is the work of eternity.
We homeschool in a way that honors rest and wonder.
We eat meals that nourish more than bodies.
And we’re learning—day by day—to build a life that reflects the light of Christ.
If you’re needing solid recipes, craving slow rhythms, or just looking for encouragement from someone who gets it—welcome.
I’m glad you’re here.
To be a Mom.
I never thought of my career goals, or what adventure I’d chase because when I grew up all I could see was a home.
One that was warm, and inviting. A place to belong.
It wasn’t always easy though.
Because, like most people, my story has had some villains. Different ones like anger, depression, anxiety, marriage and financial problems.
Some call him the great redeemer and I can attest to that.
Because I’ve seen him take my broken and tattered threads and weave them together into a beautiful tapestry.
It’s not quite finished yet but I’m happy you’re now a part of it. A golden thread of community, right here on the internet. Who knew?

If we could meet in person, I’d pour you a cup of something warm and tell you you’re doing a good job. And that your story isn’t over yet either.
There is much good left for you in this life and I want to help you find it.
So stick around while I share encouragement, recipes, and rhythms to make each day a little more beautiful than the last.
