This beautiful family recently moved to Nashville, TN and welcomed a new sweet bundle of joy to their family. It was an absolute joy to capture these intimate family moments during this Nashville Lifestyle Newborn Portrait Session. Bringing a new baby home changes everything, whether it’s your first or your fifth! Each time there are inevitable new challenges and changes to overcome and adapt to, but it is also one of the most joyful times as a parent.
There is nothing better than peering down at that precious sleepy face. I know it well, as our sons are the same age. It was extra special to watch big brother doting on his new baby sister. Her big brother was incredibly gentle and an absolute pro! You can already see the bond forming between them. It’s the sweetest! As a mom of multiples myself, I know how precious these moments are.
Lifestyle Portraits at Home
During our lifestyle newborn session, Dad admired his family from the kitchen while mom and her new little one cuddled on the couch in the living room with watchful big brother close by. The sweet babe was very sleepy during our session and it was amazing to watch all of her adorable expressions.
The whole family snuggled in close by the gorgeous natural light streaming in from the windows. We had to take a few moments to admire the tiny toes and fingers as she slept soundly in mom’s arms. For even more natural lighting, we took our portraits outside to the front yard where we captured even more special moments of this lovely family. I love the cozy feel of lifestyle newborn sessions and the freedom it allows families to relax, be themselves, and focus on what’s most important, their babies!
