This stunning, modern Nashville maternity session at Country Cove Christmas Tree Farm just outside of Nashville, TN was the perfect way for this couple to document their last moments together as a couple before their first baby arrived!
Fall in Nashville is usually pretty mild! Light breezes, warm sunshine, nothing too dramatic. On the day of Joy and Kyle’s maternity shoot at Country Cove however, it was cold. The kind of cold that shouts “winter is coming!” and makes you want to snuggle under a blanket on the couch in front of the fire.
Luckily, Joy and Kyle were both ready to brave the chill – and we got some absolutely incredible images. Just as we started the maternity session, dark clouds rolled in overhead. The dramatic lighting was the perfect complement to the modern vibe of the session, and the brisk breeze whipped Joy’s hair around to lovely effect.
Joy and Kyle have unbelievable chemistry, and their love and excitement really shine through in every image. They chose modern outfits and accessories – a felt hat, brown booties, a ribbed knit dress – that showed up beautifully on camera. This Nashville maternity session was a lovely celebration of the couple’s last weeks together as just the two of them before their sweet baby boy joins them soon!
