Junk mail.
That’s how it started. As soon as my kids were old enough to check the mail by themselves they became enamored with any and every flyer, pamphlet, and sales ad.
So for today’s reading pleasure, my five-year-old snuggled up in his new bed with a Sam’s Club magazine. As he was flipping through it he asked when we could have, and I quote, “those little pizza things”.
Since a trip to the club wasn’t in the cards and I’ve started looking more into the quality of foods we eat I decided it would be a perfect night to try and make our own.
It’s almost too easy. Just four ingredients and a few spices is all it takes to make these super fun and easy homemade bagel bites.
I do want to note the better quality the ingredients, the better these will taste. So if it’s in the cards look for non-gmo, organic, or make your own ingredients.
You can use any baking pan but I like to use my all time favorite cast iron griddle for a perfectly crispy on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside crust.
