I love watching the love and spark between a couple as they commit to live their life together. You don’t just see the love; you can feel it. One thing is certain, the love between Marisa & Hank is real, and their classy, intimate Downtown Nashville wedding was a blessing to witness and capture.
Looking at these photos, you would have no idea that they planned their wedding in a week. Yes, you read that right! The groom, Hank, proudly serves in the Military, and he found out last minute that he could take leave to travel to Nashville and marry Marisa. How sweet and romantic is that?!
Marisa was a stunning, elegant Bride. Her face is dancing with joy in every photo. I’m thankful that Marisa & Hank chose to do the first look! There is nothing better than capturing the genuine emotions and first expressions of such a sweet, memorable moment. Whether or not you choose to do a first look is totally up to you, but I’m always for it. They’re such incredible moments.
Emotional and intimate wedding day
What I love most about this wedding is the love story the pictures tell. The wedding may have been small, but it tells a grand story. A story of two people connected by love. One of a couple who waited for this moment to commit and celebrate their love and future together, and who moved mountains to make it all happen.
As a former military family, it was an honor to photograph their wedding. I know the challenges, and sometimes, uncertainties that come with being a military spouse. But, I have no doubt that whatever you two face in life, it will make your marriage stronger and other moments in life sweeter.
