These 3 ingredient immune boosting popsicles are perfect for when your little ones are under the weather. In less than 4 hours, they are ready to eat with just a few simple ingredients you probably already have on hand.

The domino effect. That’s how it works in my house. With 5 little ones, it seems that when someone gets sick, they all do.

During a recent bout of fevers and coughs, my kids weren’t in the mood to eat or drink much. We like to teach them to trust and listen to what their bodies tell them, so I didn’t want to push it but knew they needed to stay hydrated.

Enter popsicles.

I searched the pantry for anything that would be good for a cold and also taste delicious. I wanted a quick win and an easy yes, something they could eat over and over until they felt better.

The result?

Pineapple, orange juice, and turmeric.

Pineapple is a great source of vitamin C and loaded with bromelain, a natural anti-inflammatory that also helps break down and clear away mucus.

Orange juice contains a healthy dose of vitamin C but also potassium and folate–both helping your body stay hydrated.

And lastly, turmeric. The magical spice I sneak into everything we eat. It’s rich color just adds to the fun of eating as many popsicles as you like. And I know they are getting a good dose of an anti-inflammatory.

Since the pineapple and orange juice are such strong, sweet flavors, the turmeric hides well.

What really makes these great though are the molds.

The small size makes them easy to be consumed without making a huge mess. Not to mention freeze in half the time.
