Charleston Family Session with The Garners
As a former Charleston dweller, there’s nothing I love more than a walk through the streets downtown. When you add a super fun loving family like the The Garners to that walk, everything seems a little bit brighter and more beautiful. I met with this sweet family for a sunrise Charleston family session and even if there were a few yawns, it was SO worth it for the empty streets.
We started their session along the waterfront, enjoying the sounds and sunlight as it rose with us. Their sweet kids were laughing and in great spirits, which made everything else more fun. After some time along the water, we moved onto one of the gazebos close by. And then it was time to really get into downtown. The old brick walls were just calling to me.
The Garners were so much fun to photograph because they’re just AMAZING. With so many laughs and hugs, everyone had a great time together and that’s really what family sessions should be about. They’re a chance for you to play and laugh, to be one unit for a little bit of time. My job is simply to capture you as you are in this time and stage of life.
