The Hantle family welcomed their second child, Caleb, home recently. Because of Covid restrictions, Caleb’s big sister was unable to visit him in the hospital, so she was really excited for him to come home! He’d also had a short stay in the NICU, so his homecoming was highly anticipated by the entire family.
As they prepped for their session, mom fed the new baby as dad fixed big sister’s hair in the most adorable pigtails. It was one of the most heart-warming scenes I’ve been privileged to witness at a lifestyle newborn session!
We took most of the in-home newborn photos in mom and dad’s bedroom before venturing up to Caleb’s new little nursery. The Hantles only moved into their home a few weeks before their son was born, but they handled the massive transition like true pros. You’d never guess that they’d gone through a move, the birth of their son in the midst of a global pandemic, and a stint in the NICU from the calm, peaceful atmosphere they created.
I was truly impressed by the Hantles as parents, as a couple, and as individuals. Tracie is so loving, patient, and present with her family – it’s hard not to immediately feel at peace and welcomed around her. The love in the room was palpable, and I think you can see it reflected in these sweet images from their Franklin lifestyle newborn session.
Just look at those sweet baby cheeks and doting big sister!
